The past week was a celebration of Dr. Seuss in many early learning centers like ours, and Finn and Thea got into the spirit. I forgot to take pictures on “Fox In Socks” Monday and “Green Eggs and Ham” Tuesday, but here’s a taste of “Wacky Wednesday” and the remaining school days.
For “Sleep Book” Friday, the children wore their favorite pajamas to school. The look on the right is one that Finn gives me often, lately… He’s been providing a taste of the Terrible Twos.
Thea and Finn ate some green beans. This is a big deal! They do not (knowingly) eat many vegetables.
She practiced matching upper and lowercase letters.
I regretted buying the pink glitter glue she wanted.
I’m pretty sure she was pretending to cut off his fingers. But he was still smiling, so all is well.
At Home Depot, she got REALLY excited about the aisle with all the potties. II wished that Finn had shown more interest.
She likes to stuff my Cabbage Patch preemie up her shirt and pretend she has a baby in her belly. “Maybe in 30 years,” I tell her.
Proudly carrying her baby around the Soup Cook Off to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Rushing for a juice pouch with her baby in tow.
Our friend Chandra was volunteering for the event.
I think we spent more time dancing than soup-tasting.
The boy had a blast.
