A Breath of Spring

Springtime wasn’t all in this week, but we felt it a little. Finn and Thea ate more vegetables. Their asthma doctor announced that cold and flu season is almost over, and said we can dial back their medication during the spring and summer.

The next round of Soccer Shots has begun, and Thea’s class did some spring themed artwork. Notice the St. Patty’s Day rainbow / pot-of-gold piece where she listed three of her six wishes to be Grandma Comes to Visit, Go to South Carolina and The Ocean. I’m hoping we can grant these wishes in the near future!

They played a silly game through the door.

Jason bought a pull-behind bike trailer, so we can ride the Greenbelt with the kids.
We went shopping for bike helmets!

And Thea didn’t want to take hers off, even at the grocery store.

Finn came down with a touch of the flu (and ate a lot of applesauce). Hopefully this is the flu’s last hurrah for our family this season.
She seemed horrified that I caught her being kind and reading stories to sick-Finn.
He saw the sun shining outside and wanted to do chalk drawings on the stoop.
Thea went to a playdate at her swim friend’s house.
And they drew lots of flowers and rainbows.
