Before the Easter Bunny rolled in, we did a few other things. Thea put on swimming googles and saw under water for the first time.
They got haircuts and lollipops!
Nana and Auntie Lala came to visit.
Introduced fruit punch peeps and homemade chocolate peanut butter eggs!
And passed along some things the Easter Bunny had dropped off in New Jersey.
Who knew that Star Wars and raisins would be such a hit?!
And bunny ears too.
The next day, the Easter Bunny made MORE deliveries at the La Quinta Inn.
And Thea and Finn made quick business of the egg hunt.
Nana and Auntie Lala said they’d tell the bunny “thank you” for Finn and Thea.
Later, we boarded the 1:30 p.m. M&H Railroad Milk and Honey Line, after hearing the Easter Bunny would be a guest passenger.
But their first brush with the bunny didn’t go so well.
Se we turned our attention to the Swatara Creek.
And looked at a Christmas tree farm and a bamboo forest with our friends across the aisle.
When the bunny dropped by again, they were a littleĀ more happy to see him.
And Jason chatted with the accordian player.
The next time the bunny visited, we were ready with a high five.
And by the end of the rail trip, Thea and the bunny were old pals.
Looks like a fun day. Glad they warmed up to the Easter Bunny.
